The Uganda Communications Commission reported approximately <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucc.co.ug\/new-communications-sector-report-highlights-efforts-to-bridge-access-and-usage-gaps\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">19 million smartphones<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in use by September 2025. Millions of feature phones and basic phones also remained active, indicating that many customers could still move to smartphones.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demand for financed devices is also growing.
